Summary: It is December 24th, 1937, and Edwina Espis, daughter of millionaire arms dealers Clovis and Idunn Espis, is convinced she's worked out how Father Christmas delivers all of his presents in one night. As she's trying to convince her acquaintance Augustus of the truth, her werewolf uncle crashes the party. Things go downhill from there. 6159 words.

Author's Note: Beh, it's several minutes after midnight, so I suppose that means I should be turning into a pumpkin right about now. I was trying to finish up prompt 3 (for which I had hardly any plotbunnies) and I'm still not sure I can do this, but here goes nothing. I had just finished watching "Bridget Jones' Diary" and reading Interesting Times, and I think both kind of show. Also, this is sort of a follow-up to a longer fic, The Duelist's Dilemma.

This is a horrifically fluffy little Girl Genius fic -- my first fic in the fandom, yay! -- featuring Klaus and eight-year-old Gil. If you are a person who has not read Girl Genius, you should. It is, in fact, free. If you are a person who has read all of Girl Genius and sees a canon error, please inform me, as I have about a three-month gap in my knowledge, and haven't seen the Secret Blueprints.
And of course, it goes without saying that all things Girl Genius belong entirely to Studio Foglio.

Written for the "Materials" challenge at hp100 and posted aaages ago. "Stone" and "Paper" as themes came to me early on, and afterwards it seemed sensible to change "Stone" to "Rock" and use Rock, Paper, Scissors as an overall theme.
